We are delighted to introduce our brand new fully electric Club Car to Sandgreen Caravan Park, the first in our fleet of electric site vehicles.
This year, we have chosen to accept the “Pollinator Patch” challenge where we need to create areas where bees, butterflies, and other insects can get food. We will be working with this throughout the 2022 season.
As part of our partnership with Play it Green, we have chosen to support Sea Shepherd UK, a registered marine conservation charity whose primary mission is to end the destruction of habitats and illegal killing of wildlife around the UK's coastline and across the world’s oceans.
We have partnered with Play it Green to make our workforce Climate Positive, lower our carbon footprint, and give back to a good cause.
Here at Sandgreen we do everything we can to have as little environmental impact as possible. We are always trying to do more and constantly looking for new ideas.
As another small step in our efforts to become more environmentally friendly, this year we are introducing more areas on Sandgreen for wild flowers to grow like poppies, clamatis and clover. We are doing this to try to encourage more bumblebees to pollinate.
We are learning about ways in which Sandgreen can help reduce its carbon footprint and taking small steps to run a greener organisation.
